Description
Issue Summary
User Property fields which are acquired by using the custom field type :
User Property Field (< 255 characters ) are not seen in the Create Issue Screen but are seen in the Edit and View Screen.
Steps to Reproduce
- Add a Property to a Test User as Identified in Update roles and properties for Jira users
( For this example we can add a property like Phone : +5344222 - Create a Custom Field "Users Phone " of Type : User Property Field (< 255 characters )
- Add this custom field to all the screen types of a project ( Edit, View , Create )
- Add a Default value to the Custom Field : For example ; Reporter:Phone ( This will pull in the Reporters Phone number from the Property )
One can also follow the steps mentioned here to create the property field
Expected Results
Now when we click on create issue, we should see the above field in the create screen
Actual Results
The Field is not seen in the Create issue page, but populates date after the submission/creation of the ticket ( In Edit and View Screens )
Workaround
The Data in User Property type field is pulled after the issue creation, hence the workaround is to continue having a use case where the data is visible after the issue is created
