As I started using the new wiki support in JIRA (see JRA-1585), I realized that when we use Confluence markup, we don't distinguish between what Atlassian provides and the user macros/plugins that we have installed in Confluence. So users are going to expect all their markup to be rendered the same as it does for Confluence. This is another Jira/Confluence integration issue. Ideally, I would like any Confluence macro or plugin (user defined, Confluence extensions, etc...) that are installed and working in my Confluence installation to work the same for Jira. Consider providing an integrated Jira and Confluence installation to satisfy this requirement.
