Summary

Currently, when organizing content in rows and columns using markdown in Jira, you have a predefined width for the columns that appear. While the width can be changed in Visual mode for fields such as Description, the formatting of the content in Visual mode doesn't persist when the issue is reloaded and there isn't an option to control the column's width for tables persistently.

Proposed Solution

Include a parameter in the Text Formatting Notation to specify the width of a column.
