    Description

      Issue Summary

When a custom field with a wiki-style renderer is added to the screen of the issue type operation view, the field shows when empty despite not being added to the screen associated with the edit operation.

      Steps to Reproduce

      Pre-requisites

      1. A project with an issue type (any).
      2. Create a multi-line custom field with the default rendered.

      Reproduce

      1. Create 2 screens with a secondary tab.
      2. On the screen intended to be associated with the view issue operation add the custom multi-line field.
      3. Ensure the custom multi-line field is not associated with the screen configured for the edit issue operation.
      4. Access or create an issue that does not have value/content for this field. The field will not show as intended.
      5. Change the text renderer of the custom mult-line field to a wiki-style renderer. The field will show, this is not intended behaviour.

      Expected Results

The field should not show if not added to the edit issue screen regardless of the render type used.

      Actual Results

The field shows when a wiki-style renderer is added and applied via field configuration.

      Workaround

Change the renderer of the custom field to "Default Text Renderer" via:

Settings ⚙️ > Field Configurations > Select configure for the relevant field configuration > Find the affected custom field > Renderers > Select "Default Text Renderer" from the drop-down list for Active Renderer.
