I'm April, a product manager looking after Atlassian Teams 👋. I appreciate you sharing your insights and use cases regarding limiting the scope of the team picker, thank you for your feedback.

We recognise the importance of addressing this problem and we are looking to explore it further in the upcoming 18 months. We have some upcoming improvements that may help with this but it's still in the early stages and we don't timelines yet. For this reason, I'm moving this to the 'future consideration' phase. I'll provide an update in a few months on where this is at 🙏
