Issue Summary
Collapsing the left sidebar shrinks the width of the details column on the right.
Background Info:
The Issue View has a maximum width (1680px, this includes paddings, margins and scrollbars of both content and panels), regardless of the user's monitor resolution. This explains the white space surrounding the Issue View. However, that being said there is definitely a bug with the Issue View's "proportionate" resizing. Meaning that when the side navigation has collapsed the calculation of the context panel (Issue View sidebar, right-hand side) seems way off. The side panel should not get smaller when the sidebar is collapsed.
Steps to Reproduce
- Open issue detail view.
- Collapse the sidebar
Expected Results
- Collapsing the sidebar would INCREASE the width of the remaining columns.
- The margins on the sides of the view would remain approximately the same.
Actual Results
When you collapse the left sidebar (to increase the screen area for the issue details):
- the width of the details column shrinks from 377px to 321px!?
- a large blank area appears on the right-hand-side

Workaround
As a workaround, the customer is able to resize the context panel themselves. If the user hovers their mouse over the whitespace separating the content and the sidebar they will see a blue bar and their pointer change allowing them to resize as they see fit. Doubling click this will recalculate the sizes. Again the resize is all within the limitation of the Issue View being at its maximum width, 1680, as described above.
