Description
At present, adding a new image attachment to an Issue will allow the user to manipulate the size of the image and save the change. This allows for the existing image to be be modified at a later date.
However when there is an existing image already attached to the Issue and a user wishes to re-insert another copy of the image, the image inserted as a thumbnail and it is no longer possible to perform actions of:
- Resizing the image
- Changing the image alignment
- Changing text wrapping around the image
- Editing the alternate text
- Adding a web link
Attached to this Suggestion ticket is a screenshot showing an example of this. The image attached is a long blue box. This can be manipulated (resized, re-aligned etc.) in the first post, then subsequently using the "Attachments on this Issue" insertion function, the insertion only occurs in thumbnail format.
The request is for users to be able to manipulate re-attached images as when they are first added to an Issue.
A potential workaround would be to download the existing image and attach it a second time, to have full edit options.
