Ability to make any required issue field unique

      Currently, in Jira, it is not possible to make a field unique and avoid other issues to have the same. As an example the fields Summary and Epic Name.

      Suggestion

      Allow admins to select any required fields to be unique.

      Workaround

      At this moment there is no workaround.

            After some analysis, we've found that this ticket is a duplicate of the request JRACLOUD-68370 – Prevent users from creating custom fields using the same name as an existing system or custom field which has more votes.
