Description
Issue Summary
The activity stream dashboard gadget allows users to setup filters for specific events/projects/users/etc. One of these is the Activity filter, which is expected to be able to filter Jira actions such as
- attachment added
- comment added
- issue created
- issue transitioned
- issue edited
- issue opened
- issue reopened
- issue progress started
- issue progress stopped
The problem can come here in that the issue transitioned filter does not inherently include other events such as "issue progress started" or "issue reopened"
Steps to Reproduce
- Create an activity filter on a dashboard
- Setup a filter to specify an issue Key of an issue for the sake of simplicity (ABC-123 for example)
- Add an additional filter of type Activity is "Issue transitioned"
- Transition the issue from To Do > Awaiting Dev
- Transition the issue again this time from Awaiting Dev > In Progress
Expected Results
We expect the activity stream gadget to display 2 transition events since this issue has been transitioned twice.
Actual Results
The issue only appears once for the To Do > Awaiting Dev transition. The transition to the In Progress status does not appear on the activity stream in this configuration.
Workaround
Adding additional filter events such as "issue progress started" and alike will allow these other more specific transition events to be displayed here in the activity stream.
