Problem Statement

Only parent value of 'Select List (cascading)' field should be displayed during search , so that it can appear in the filter.

Example :

In below screenshot, Application is 'Select List (cascading)' field . 'Chrome' is parent and 'Chrome C1' ,'Chrome C2' are child values.

It should be possible to display on 'Chrome' ( parent value ).
