Problem Description

When attempting to select a user to mention using the @ symbol within a Jira issue's comment, other text fields, or in the Assignee field, the user is presented with a list of usernames and an associated avatar. However, when companies have multiple users with the same first/last name combination, selecting the correct user is sometimes not easily identifiable and can lead to confusion or possible data leakage when choosing the incorrect user entry.

Suggested Resolution

Provide the ability to display additional identifying information in the user picker, such as email address (depending on Atlassian account visibility settings) or the Full name field if it contains different values compared to the Public name field.
