Status update through CSV import does not fire an event

      Issue Summary

      When updating issue status value through CSV import, Jira does not fire any event.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Import some issues through CSV in External System Import
      2. Update only status - keep the other fields with the same current value

      Expected Results

      Jira should fire an Issue Event such as Issue Update in order to enable, for example, automation rules to be fired, similar to what happens when we update other fields through CSV import.

      Actual Results

      No event is fired.

      Workaround

      Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
