      Issue Summary

When moving a child issue into a new project, and setting the issue type on the moved issue to Epic, the parent link to the original Epic breaks.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create Epic Issue 1 in Project A
      2. Create child issue Issue 2 as non-epic issue type
      3. On Issue 2, begin Move operation
      4. Move issue 2 to Project B and change issue type to Epic
      5. Issue 2 will now be an Epic with no parent visible in Breadcrumb and no issue links

      Expected Results

Issue 2 exists in Project B and either has no issue links, or a way to remove the parent link to Issue 1

      Actual Results

Issue 2 has no visible issue links, but Issue 1 still links to Issue 2 as a child. There is no visible way to remove this issue link from either Issue 1 or Issue 2.

      Workaround

Changing the issue type on Issue 2 will remove all parent link associations. This will also remove any child issues of Issue 2, which must then be manually reassociated with it.
