    Description

      Problem Definition

As we now have the new custom domain solution as per explain in What are the steps for setting up custom email addresses? documentation, when customer checked the Configure Jira Cloud to send emails on behalf of your domain documentation, it is confusing because we still asked the customer to configure the DKIM record as below:-

      s1._domainkey	IN	CNAME	s1._domainkey.atlassian.net.
      s2._domainkey	IN	CNAME	s2._domainkey.atlassian.net.

This is the legacy custom domain configuration and is no longer required.

      Suggested Solution

Remove the Domain Ownership and DNS records configuration in Configure Jira Cloud to send emails on behalf of your domain documentation , and just ask customer to refer to What are the steps for setting up custom email addresses? documentation.
