Issue Summary
When the user tries to use a Select List (single choice) custom field and search the options using numbers and not letters, it seems that the results vary when the issue is created to searching when it is edited again causing the inconsistency. please find the screenshots below,
1) Searching the option by entering 1 while creating the ticket
2) Searching the same option while editing the ticket
Steps to Reproduce
Step 1 - Create the Select List (single choice) custom field with some options including letters and numbers and add it to the Issue create screen.
Step 2 - Try to create a ticket and search for the options in the custom field using numbers while creating and also try the same while editing the ticket after creation in which you would find inconsistency.
Expected Results
- Expected to show similar results while trying to search in the custom field both during the creation and editing of the ticket.
Actual Results
- The custom field shows different results on searching the options during the creation and editing of the ticket.
Workaround
Search for the option using keywords rather than numbers to find the value you're looking for.
