Issue Summary
Users are unable to create Subtasks from the Issue Navigator if there are multiple projects in the list that they've clicked on.
This only happens while on the Issue navigation view and a validator is present (field configuration or workflow) on the Subtask and you've clicked on issues from different projects.
Steps to Reproduce
- Go to the Issue navigator and switch to Detail View
- Make sure that there are issues from 2 different projects or more in the list
- One of the projects must have a required field in the Field Configuration or a Workflow with a Validator in the create step (eg. Description)
- Click on project B, then click on project A and Create subtask
Expected Results
The inline create should trigger the create screen due to the required field and once you update the Description, you can create the Subtask.
Actual Results
The creation fails and you get an error:
Could not find parent project for this issue
.

Note: This only affects users using the New Global issue create experience and where there is a required field in the Field Configuration or a Validator in the create step of the Workflow.
Workaround
Refreshing the page generally works. The Subtask can be created in any other view. Otherwise, you can also Switch to the old experience in your Personal settings. To avoid this bug altogether you can remove the validator that's applied on the project of the Subtask.
