      It is really really really really really boring to delete emoticon which appears when we enter a ":" especialy.

      Ther is a button in the toolbar for those who like emoticons and that largely enough.

      Please, remove this keyboard shortcut to insert emoticons.

            For the record, it seems to be a californian custom , Microsoft also adds this annoying "feature" to Office 365. It plagues all countries where a space is needed before the colon sign...

            More than 4 years have passed, still no solution !

            I do not need an explanation about Badges, I need to disable the lame pop-up for emoticons NOW, i am not 12 but i can behave like that in any Forum if you wish!

            Ten years old in various tickets and suggestions. Another closed ticket for the most annoying and counterproductive feature of your services.

            Autoreplacing Smileys ruins code posted in ticket comments.
            It needs to be removed ten years ago. Fix it!

            Please improve this service by adding an option to completely disable emojis throughout the organization's projects.

            Why are there emojis anywhere in what purports to be a tool for business?

            I recommend a button labeled "We are grown ups", or possibly "Our staff are literate."

            Bumping this. Please add an option to disable autocomplete emoji. There are lots of valid character combinations that very difficult to type out because of overzealous emoji autocomplete. Slash between 2 equal signs frustratingly creates an unprofessional looking slanty face =/=.
