Running a Connect app straight after install may return an error

      Issue Summary

      When installing some applications from the marketplace, accessing the application straight away after installation from the app menu is throwing a “Something went wrong” error and the application subsequently does not load. Re-loading the app a second time works fine. 

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. From the Atlassian Marketplace install a 3rd party app like, for example, Agile Risk Management for Jira Cloud
      2. Once installed, go to Apps → Agile Risk Management on the header navigation (top menu).

      Expected Results

      The app loads correctly

      Actual Results

      After loading for some time the app does not load and a “Something went wrong” error is displayed instead.

      Workaround

      The issue does not occur if you either reload the "installation success" page before launching the app, or you click on the “Get started“ or “Manage app“ link in the "Install success" popup.
