Summary:-

When adding a user to a project the user picker doesn't show the email address, this confuses the admins when there are two or three users with the same name and the users are non-managed. Some customer feels that this is a security concern and a lot of manual effort.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Add two or more users with the same name with different email addresses in the admin.atlassian.com directory
2. Create a project 
3. Try to add a user from Project settings -> people -> add people
4. you can see the same users back to back 

Workaround

Need to add the users manually so that we can see the email address and then remove the ones which are not required.
