Summary

When entering text into the "new issue" Description area, line formatting is automatically applied and there is no way to change it to compress the text.

Use case scenario:

In the case of the ticket I am creating, there are literally 30 lines of text relating to options being managed thru the ticket. The line spacing is not adjustable so each line is taking up twice the space. I need to print this out to go talk to various depts and it is longer than it needs to be.

Workaround

To create smaller spacing between the next line, use the (shift + Enter) instead.
