Atlassian Update - August 2024
Hi everyone,

Thank you for raising and voting on this suggestion. Your feedback is invaluable in shaping and enhancing Jira for all users. Given the high volume of feature suggestions for Jira, we must prioritize those that provide the most value to the majority of our users. After a thorough review by the team, we have decided that we will not be able to implement this suggestion in the immediate future.

There is already[ a Multi-Level Cascading Select app: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/5008/multi-level-cascading-select?tab=overview&hosting=cloud and other apps are available on the cloud. There are to options available buying an app or writing a custom Forge app.

Please remember that jira.atlassian.com is only one of many inputs for our roadmap. We’re continuously learning, analysing and interviewing customers to make Jira better. We encourage you to also share your feedback through Atlassian Community. Currently in Company Managed and Team Managed projects, we can create a cascading type of fields where we can only select a single option, for reference,

• there is a cascading field named as team and it has 3 options i.e. alpha, beta, gamma

• currently, for team, we can only select a single option i.e (either, alpha/beta/gamma)

• The required is the ability to select multiple options for the team, without one option being got append by selecting the other one.
