Issue Summary

Linked issues doesn't show a validation error when it is made required on new issue create screen.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Make linked issues field required in field configuration
2. Click on create button on top menu to open new issue create screen
3. Don't add any option/issue for linked issue field.

Expected Results

User is shown required field error

Actual Results

No error can be seen for linked issue field

Workaround

Use a Field has been modified Validator in the create transition in the workflow. That will work in preventing the issue creation if no issue link is added:

• That works with the new Issue create experience as well

Or, since this only occurs when using the new create issue experience, the workaround is to switch back to the legacy Issue Create modal by going to Personal Jira Settings -> Jira Labs -> New Global Issue Create Experience -> Switch to the old Experience.
