Expected Results
It should upload the attachments and block the issue creation while the upload progress doesn't finish, then display it on the description as a thumbnail.
Actual Results
It doesn't upload the attachments and the description shows that it can't render the image.
Checking the new issue view, we can see the thumbnail and the message: Failed to load - example with one attached image and one error
By clicking on the image:
Something went wrong. We couldn't generate a preview for this file. The selected item was not found on the list.
By checking on the old issue view: example with one attached image and one error
Unable to render embedded object: File (xxxxx.png) not found.
Workaround
Upload the attachment by using the browse option at upload section at issue creation. This way, Jira does not allow you to create the ticket if the attachment hasn't been uploaded.
Suggested Solutions
Jira should upload the attachments and block the issue creation while the upload progress doesn't finish and display it on the description as a thumbnail.
