      From Marc Palmer:

      I would suggest that JIRA have a configuration option added to limit the
      issue types and resolutions of issues included in the Change Log and Release
      Notes generated - probably separate lists for each.

      This would mean that for commercial (not so open) products you can hide
      "internal" issues from change logs instead of having to manually edit them
      out, or do a custom jira report and format all the data. Much of the time
      the changelog/release notes feature is not very useful for commercial
      products as there is often a lot of detailed issues that you don't need the
      custmoer to see.
