    Description

      Issue Summary

If someone accidentally hits the "Cancel" button during a filling of an Issue, immediately the comment is gone with no confirmation. A dialog box before committing the cancelation, for example, "Are you sure you want to cancel your comment?" would help avoid losing it.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create an issue

      2. Begin creating a comment
      3. Click Cancel

      Expected Results

A dialog box to confirm the cancelation of the comment during a filling of an Issue.

      Actual Results

The text filled into the Issue is removed without a confirmation.

      Workaround

Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior inside Jira. At your own risk, it's possible to use a Third-Part Addon for caching texts on the web browser.
