Description
Issue Summary
When trying to save a filter applied to a Filter Results macro, it won't work if there's a custom field type Text Field (multi-line) or Select List (single choice) __ selected/ added.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a Text Field (multi-line) or Select List (single choice) custom field on Jira and add it to a project
- On Confluence create a new page and add the Filter Results macro
- Add a filter for the project from step 1
- Add the custom field from step 1
- Try to save the settings
Expected Results
Settings are saved
Actual Results
Nothing happens and there's no way to save the settings
Workaround
Currently, the only available workaround is to add the macro again, without adding the Text Field (multi-line) custom field.
Another potential workaround:
Use Jira Issue macro as a potential workaround. Here are some documentation: https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/insert-the-jira-issues-macro/
After selecting the tasks to display using a filter or JQL query, we can use the table display option to customize the columns that will be shown like so:
