I'm April, a product manager looking after Atlassian Teams 👋. I appreciate you sharing your insights into assigning a role to a whole Team. For those who are interested in this ticket, what makes you want to assign the role to a Team as opposed to a group? 

Broadly speaking, this is on our radar but we don't have a timeline for it yet. I'm keeping it as 'gathering interest' until I have more on whether this is something we will be considering.

If you do want to provide feedback on why you need this, it'd be great for you to list your use cases - why do you need this feature? That would help a lot with prioritisation.
