We recently saw a demonstration of Serena Team Track. In general, JIRA is better ( and I like dealing with Atlassian much more than dealing with a big, unresponsive software company). However, they have a great feature they call the State Change History View. It basically is a flowchart view that shows the time and date a workflow or assignment was changed. This makes for a very visual way to see the progress of an issue.
