The last seen is not updated in Jira User management if the users don't perform any operations on Jira

      Currently, Jira products require users to not only log in but also perform operations to be counted towards activities.

      Suggestion:

      Site admins monitor the last seen data to keep a track of active users and decide if the inactive users need a Product license or not. It would be nice to record the Last Activity data when a user “logs into” a Jira product.

            still an issue. really jarring if mid onboarding lets say, a user discovers they've been deactivated for being "never active" because you have an automation to sweep for inactive users

            Hi, we have certain external accounts on our site with special admin/recovery rights, for which our security policy specifies that we need to check periodically if and when that account accesses our site.   At the moment I have no way of doing that.

            This have changed during the summer? Bug? As an admin I need to know how is using the product. Now in user's details (even my own) I see false information "Never used this product".
