Issue Summary
When a select list custom field is restricted to issue types as well as projects, their options aren't available for selection in Basic Search.
This has been reproduced in some scenarios:
- Select List(Single Choice) and Select List(Multiple Choice) and restricted in context to both a project as well as an issue type.
- Select List(Cascading) and restrict it only to issue types (global projects)
The dropdown is available though, if we switch to Advanced Search.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a custom field which is restricted in context as described
- Navigate to Basic Search and select the project and the issuetype which are in the context of the custom field.
- Add the custom field in the search and try to select an option.
Expected Results
A dropdown with the configured options should come up.
Actual Results
There are no options in the dropdown.
Workaround
Switch to Advanced Search by clicking on "Switch to JQL".
