With over 5,500 votes, Dark Mode is a massively desired feature by the community. However, the assignee for the existing issue left the company with no-one taking over, leading to a stall in any kind of progress. It's been 5 years since the issue was proposed and yet Jira has no Dark Theme on cloud. I know several people who have switched for this reason, and I am considering doing so myself after having paid for Jira for a few years – it's that big a deal. When every application and website except for Jira is nice and dark, it's painful to have bright white light blast one's retinas especially at night!
