Recently, Jira added a new functionality that allows Jira Admins to copy issue layouts from different projects.

The problem is that some errors can occur when the source project:

• Was moved to trash
• Is from a different project type

When this happens, Jira just displays a generic error about it.

Suggestion

It would be very helpful if Jira explains why the operation was not completed.
