Issue Summary
When you change the date format jira.date.picker.java.format in advanced settings to use a year format of 4 digits like this d/MMM/yyyy and you set the year manually with 2 digits in the date picker fields like due date, Jira will auto-complete the year with 2 zeros causing the field to stop working and when you try to edit the field it disappears.
Steps to Reproduce
- Change the date format jira.date.picker.java.format in advanced settings to use a year format of 4 digits like this d/MMM/yyyy
- Create an issue setting the due date manually with a year of 2 digits
- See the video below, it includes the bulk edit workaround
https://share.getcloudapp.com/llu5N0jj
Expected Results
The year is auto-completed correctly
Actual Results
Jira adds 2 zeros at the beginning of the year
Workaround
If the issue was created and needs to be edited, you can use a bulk edit operation to put the correct date.
