Problem : In a NextGen Project, restrictions do not apply when an issue is created within backlog / board.

Steps to Reproduce :

1. Select a NextGen Project. Navigate to Project settings>>Issue Types and set restrictions to an issuetype as shown below :

2. Create an issue from the Project as shown below :

3. Issue created from Project shows the restrictions applied :

4. Now create an issue from the Backlog/board as shown below :

Expected Results

Restriction should apply for issues created from backlog/board

Actual Results

Issues created from backlog/board do not show restrictions.

Suggestion

Apply restrictions to issues created inline from backlog/board and provide warning that restrictions are applied and user may not be able to view issue depending on their permissions
