    Description

      Currently, creating an issue (story or task) and attributing an Original Estimate to it is rather pointless for teams that use sub-tasks for the parent issues and log time against those sub-tasks.

      The time logged will feed correctly into the parent issue, but will not affect the time remaining on the parent issue.

      Presumably this is due to Jira only subtracting from the Original Estimate if work is logged directly on the issue at hand.
