      Issue Summary

Having two double dashes inside a code block in a Jira comment (-- foo --) will cause two of those dashes to be converted to ~, because being enclosed by double-dashes in Jira and tildes in Slack mean strikethrough formatting. However, since it's inside a code block, it should not trigger such formatting.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Add a link or a comment in Jira using "-".
      2. When viewing the same link or comment in Slack dashes will be converted to "~".

      Expected Results

The format of the dashes should not change to another character.

      Actual Results

Dashes "-" are converted to "~"

      Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
