As a Jira user I often receive helpful comments from my colleagues in Jira tickets.

I would like to thank the author of the comment or "plus one" the content of the comment without artificially inflating the comment section.

It would be great, if Jira would offer the option to react to a comment with an emoji (like e. g. in slack chats). This would lead to a appreciative communication without way to many comments like "OK", "thank you" or "got it".
