Issue Summary

Confluence pages links in Jira issues are not synced if Jira issue macro is removed from the page OR if the page is deleted.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a few issues in Jira and a page in Confluence
2. Paste direct Jira issues URL in the page and publish
3. Observe the section Confluence pages mentioned on in Jira issues
4. Edit the page and remove Jira issue macro OR delete the page entirely
5. Check again the mentioned on section

Expected Results

With application link setup, the integration between Jira and Confluence should be synced. With issue macro removed or page deleted, the links to pages in issues get updated accordingly.

Actual Results

Links to Confluence pages are left in Jira issue either as working link but as irrelevant link to pages OR broken link if the page is removed.

Workaround

Currently, there is no known workaround for this behaviour. A workaround will be added here when available
