Status button not readable with JAWS Screen Reader

Issue Summary

The currently selected status option is not read to the user when using JAWS Screen Reader. When assigning requests, there is no indication if the status has been successfully changed to 'In Progress' for example, and navigating back to the button does not read this text either.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Using the screen reader go to a request;
2. Try to change the status;

Expected Results

The screen reader shows the statuses as expected.

Actual Results

The screen reader doesn't show the statuses.

Workaround

Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
