      Issue Summary

Currently, at Next Gen project when using "Send Email" action and set the "To" as "Approver" or "Pending Approver" doesn't work. It doesn't capture any email.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Open Next-Gen JIRA Service Desk project
      2. Create issue with approver.
      3. Create automation with "Send Email" action.
      4. Set the "To" , for Approver and Pending Approver
      5. Execute the automation

      Expected Results

      Email send to the approver.

      Actual Results

From the audit log , it hit into error :-

Could not send email, the 'To' address field is empty. If you have referenced a field it may be empty.

      Workaround

With thanks to this commenter - changing the trigger to "When value changes" for the field Approvers works:

You should also change the "To" in the email to Approvers instead of Pending Approvers.

Another workaround are to add the "Re-fetch issue data" action before the "Send Email" action as per screenshot:-
