Issue Summary

The customer is having an issue where the Watcher's count shows an incorrect number of watchers in the new issue view. This issue is triggered when post-functions are processed by JMWE add-on.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Install the JMWE add-on from https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.innovalog.jmwe.jira-misc-workflow-extensions;
2. Once the add-on is installed, Create a Set Field Value (JMWE App) post function as seen here:
   
3. Create Issue
   Check watchers count
4. Current Results:
   Watchers count is 2
5. Expected results
   Watchers count to be 5

Note:
When clicking the watcher's count it is now reflected correctly.

Expected Results

In the new issue view, when opening Jira issues and checking the watcher's count, the watcher's count should show the correct watchers' count based on the watcher's listed.

Actual Results

The watcher's count shows a number that doesn't reflect the correct count. When the user clicks on watcher's count the number will be automatically updated to the correct count and the correct watchers will be listed. The issue only happens in the new issue view. 

Workaround

The workaround, for now, is to use the old issue view to have the correct Watcher's count.
