when using backticks to convert text to code format text is decomposed

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create an issue and write something on wiki-style description
2. Use backticks to convert to code this text
3. The text will be decomposed with a separation of a single quote.

Expected Results

To show the text in code mode only as it is

Start with a backtick and then write the text and end with a backtick, or select the line and type control + shift + m
