Summary

In Jira search, the basic search criteria is reset when search results are sorted

Steps to Reproduce

1. In Jira search, switch to basic search and select a few search criteria. For example, select a project and assignee from the list.
2. Search for the results
3. Try to sort one of the fields/columns
4. The search criteria selected resets

Expected Result

The search criteria selected should be intact after sorting

Actual Result

Search criteria is reset after sorting

Workaround

Currently, there is no workaround for this behavior.

Note: Even after the search criteria is reset, the results shown would be still intact and matches the search.
