Search return ticket which contains a removed value.

Issue Summary

Using the search for value for instance text~"BugXXX-", the search returns the ticket even though the value has been removed from the ticket.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create text custom field (fieldA), attach it to any screen to make it visible (Text field single line is for sure affected, multi line may be as well)
2. Create a ticket with and put some value to that field (fieldA), e.g: BugXXX-
3. Clear the value for field (fieldA)
4. Use JQL search text ~ "BugXXX-*" to search for the ticket.

Similar behaviour appears when fieldA ~ "BugXXX-*" is searched.

Expected Results

The ticket shouldn't return from the search result.

Actual Results

The ticket return from the search result.

Workaround

Bug appears when field is cleared. Putting there any non-null value, e.g. . causes the issue gone from search results
