Changing the "Email From" value in the General configuration uses the old email template.

      Hi all,

      This is Irene from the Jira Notifications team.

      We're pleased to let you know that we’re making changes so that the format of emails with a customized Email from value will now be consistent with other Jira issue notification emails.

      This work is in progress. We will give another update when we are ready to roll it out.

      Issue Summary

      Modifying the value in Settings -> System Setting -> General Configuration -> Email From is still using the old Jira email notification template.
      Reverting it back to the default value uses the new template.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Change the Value in Settings -> System Setting -> General Configuration -> Email From
      2. Create an issue and assign it to yourself.
      3. Take a look at the Notification received.

      Use the default Email from value ${fullname} (Jira).

      Notes:

      We see the same behaviour if we change the outgoing mail address from default address to send emails on behalf of a custom domain under Project settings > Notifications.
