It's not currently possible to remove or hide the web links panel from the new issue view. For issues with a large number of web or external links, this clutters the issue view. In the old issue view, there was at least the ability to collapse the web links panel which would persist through page refresh.

It would be useful to be able to either collapse the web links section or otherwise hide it from the issue view by configuring the issue layout.
