Setting epic link in next gen projects

      Next gen projects do no longer use 'Epic Link' custom fields. They've introduced a new mechanism for linking issues.

      currently there is no API for the new mechanism we can use (and we'll have to add conditionals for Next gen projects to our edit issue action).

            I'm experiencing failure with automation using the `For Epic (parent)` branch. What can I do to debug this?

            To be more explicit, there isn't an error or failure – the trigger (issue transition) is detected properly, but no action is taken.

            This is necessary to close epics automatically when all their issues are completed. Now it does not work.
