XSRF session token expiring frequently

      Issue Summary

      Currently, XSRF tokens are not refreshed automatically and we have seen an increasing number of customers who are getting the error message 'XSRF security token missing' multiple times in a day.

      This is happening to them across multiple browsers and after full cache clearing or re-installation of the browser.

      Most commonly this is happening when transitioning an issue status.

      Steps to Reproduce

      NB. (only for affected users, intermittent issue.)

      1. Use Jira as normal.
      2. Work on an issue.
      3. Try to transition the issue status.

      Expected Results

      The issue should transition as normal

      Actual Results

      Workaround

      Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior as a permanent fix. A workaround will be added here when available.

      However, clearing your browser cache will reduce the time between XSRF tokens expiring
