Given the high volume of feature suggestions for Jira, we must prioritize those that provide the most value to the majority of our users. After a thorough review by the team, we have decided that we will not be able to implement this suggestion in the immediate future.

Problem Definition

Currently in new issue view , the group picker field only display 20 results in the dropdown list.

Suggested Solution

List all the groups in the dropdown list. When user scroll the value, it will return more value.
OR
Introduce the group picker feature in the new issue view

Why this is important

User will not know the group available.

Workaround

Type the first couple of characters of the group and Jira will suggest you the matching ones. You can then select the appropriate one from the results.
