Agile Widgets load with error message "Gadget cannot be displayed" on Jira Dashboards

Issue Summary

We had the incident below raised with issues around Jira Agile Widget loading in both Jira and Confluence Cloud platforms

Steps to Reproduce

1. Login to Jira 
2. Load any dashboard that has Jira Agile Widgets/Gadgets

Variation to above , could be if Confluence pages call Jira Widgets as well.

Expected Results

Gadget displays data as normal

Actual Results

1. Error below is displayed  :

"This gadget cannot be displayed on your dashboard. This could be due to a licensing problem or an application error. If you need this gadget, contact your administrator for assistance. Otherwise, you can remove it from your dashboard"

Workaround

Users can use the workaround of recreating the gadget in case issue persists.

Issue is now resolved - see update note at the incident pages above. 

Between 01:30 UTC Dec 20th to 08:03 UTC Dec 23rd, we experienced issues with Agile Widgets loading at Atlassian Cloud Jira. The issue has been resolved and the service is operating normally. Some users may still need to refer to the workaround highlighted at https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-73592.
